Fortum is seeking a Senior Development Manager to lead all activities related to the development of Fortum-owned and third-party sites, with a focus on enabling industrial customer electrification and decarbonization projects. You'll have an opportunity to virtually lead a cross-unit team and collaborate with senior external stakeholders. Your work will have a direct impact on Fortum's strategic growth and sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute local strategies for site development and acquisition in Sweden.
- Steer and prioritize projects through steering committees.
- Manage environmental permitting and grid connections in close collaboration with Real Estate.
- Collaborate with Business Sweden and other external/governmental institutions.
- Market sites to industrial customers.
- Role model EHS leadership for Fortum and contracted staff.
What We're Looking For:
- Master's degree in engineering or related field.
- 10+ years' leadership experience, ideally in the energy industry.
- Proven operational business leadership with P&L ownership.
- Deep understanding of the energy landscape, commodity markets, asset management, and customer engagement.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and customer-centric approach.
- Strong analytical, communication, and team leadership skills.
