Job Description
Main responsibilities:
- Ensure efficient design work with given tools
- Ensure re-use of existing solutions
- Promote new solutions and working methods
- Ensure quality of design work / designed product
- Ensure fulfilment of directives, instructions, time schedule and best practices for given design tasks
- Ensure cost effective design
- Take care of the own competence and training
- Responsible for the project documentation including check lists, reports etc.
Main tasks:
- Mentor / guide / help other designers
- Steer and control design when designing
- Coordinate smaller jobs
- Co-operate with the customer in given responsibility areas
Development responsibilities:
- To develop the way of working according to the Quality Management System and way of working guidelines.
- Participate in continuous improvement process within own competence area and according to customer requirements of engineering.
