About the role

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist who can take full ownership of machine learning models from data to production.

You will work across the full stack - from transforming data in the warehouse (dbt), to training models, to deploying and monitoring them in production.

This role sits at the intersection of data science, data engineering, and backend systems, with a strong focus on building reliable decisioning systems.

What you'll do

• Own the full lifecycle of models: data training evaluation production monitoring
• Build and maintain feature transformations in dbt (batch layer)
• Develop and train models (e.g. credit risk, pricing, decision systems)
• Deploy models to production using APIs or batch pipelines
• Ensure models are stable, monitored, and retrained when needed
• Work closely with stakeholders to define problems and evaluate impact on risk, conversion, and profitability
• Collaborate with Data Engineers on data pipelines and infrastructure
• Improve internal processes around ML development and deployment

What we're looking for

• 5+ years in Data Science / ML
• Experience building and deploying models into production
• Strong experience with SQL and data modeling in a warehouse
• Experience with dbt or similar transformation frameworks
• Solid Python skills for modeling and data processing
• Understanding of how ML systems run in production (APIs, batch, monitoring)
• Comfortable owning systems end-to-end - not just modeling
