Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer - MLOps Focus to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Develop and enhance a platform supporting AI needs, including model registry, model traceability, and data traceability.

Collect, structure, and store data for AI and analytics use cases.

Collaborate closely with IT and OT teams to design hosting and infrastructure solutions.

Participate in technical decision-making across both Data Engineering and AI domains.

Drive initiatives from concept to implementation and contribute your own ideas to shape the AI platform.

Support related projects in automation and digitalisation within the department.

What you bring:

3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer with interest or competence in MLOps.

Strong skills in Python, including experience with FastAPI, async programming, and Data Science packages (Torch, scikit-learn, NumPy).

Basic knowledge of Docker and container technologies.

Basic understanding of React and frontend integration.

Experience working with databases (preferably PostgreSQL), including both usage and schema design.

Knowledge of, or interest in, MLFlow and experiment tracking.

Basic skills in bash/shell scripting.

Ability and willingness to work across multiple domains (infrastructure, backend, frontend).

Curious, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to build solutions from the ground up.

Ability to commute to Trollhättan at least 4 days per week.

Swedish citizenship, fluent in Swedish and English.
