About the Assignment

We are looking for an experienced Category Manager to take interim ownership of the Facilities & Construction category during a transition period. The role carries global category responsibility with a primary operational focus on Sweden, supporting ongoing construction and facility investment initiatives. You will ensure continuity, drive active sourcing work, and create clear commercial results in a matrix environment.

Job DescriptionLead sourcing and contracting activities within Facilities & Construction

Manage RFIs/RFPs/RFQs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract implementation

Support major construction and facility investment projects

Secure robust commercial agreements and ensure procurement governance

Identify and deliver cost savings and risk mitigation initiatives

Manage supplier performance and align key stakeholders

Provide structured reporting and recommendations to senior stakeholders

Requirements7+ years' experience in strategic procurement/category management

Strong background in construction and facility-related sourcing

Proven experience managing complex negotiations and contracts

Ability to operate independently in a global matrix organization

Strong stakeholder management skills

Fluent in Swedish and English
