Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team.

What You Will Work On

Act as the central Business Analyst for a major retail initiative, driving the development of a new inventory valuation solution within a modern data and analytics platform.

Collect, analyze, structure, and quality-assure business and data requirements to ensure robust, scalable, and process-aligned solution design.

Collaborate closely with operations, finance, data engineers, and development teams to translate business needs into clear functional and data requirements.

Work with conceptual and logical data modeling to establish shared definitions, structures, and business rules for inventory, order flows, and financial calculations.

Follow up on development progress across data pipelines, ETL/ELT flows, and integrations, ensuring alignment with requirements and architectural principles.

Coordinate dependencies and requirements across multiple teams and suppliers, ensuring clarity, consistency, and timely delivery.

Lead workshops to create consensus on data definitions, process flows, and valuation logic.

Verify that delivered models, integrations, and analytics solutions meet the documented needs and support intended financial and operational outcomes.

Support project management with planning, coordination, tracking, and follow-up of tasks and activities.

What You Bring

At least five years of experience working as a Business Analyst or requirements analyst in IT environments.

Strong understanding of data modeling for analytical solutions at the conceptual and logical levels.

Experience with ETL/ELT processes, modern data pipelines, and contemporary data architectures.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with data engineers, analysts, and BI/Data & Analytics teams and to define clear requirements for these roles.

Advantageous insight into inventory, order, or supply chain processes within retail or similar domains.

Solid understanding of financial processes and how data supports valuation, reporting, and controlling.

Experience working with diverse stakeholders across operations, finance, IT, and external suppliers.

A structured, analytical approach with confidence in leading workshops, creating alignment, and managing complex requirements.

Strong communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
