Assignment Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Backend Engineer

What You Will Work On

Design, develop, and scale backend services using Java

Own solution architecture and drive end-to-end implementation

Develop and optimize cloud-native services in Google Cloud Platform

Manage and scale Postgres and BigTable environments

Build and maintain high-performance data pipelines using Scio and/or Flight

Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability

Lead technical deep dives, workshops, and stakeholder demos

Contribute to CI/CD and DevOps best practices

Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams

What You Bring

Extensive experience building and maintaining backend services in Java

Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Proven experience managing Postgres and BigTable at scale

Solid background in data engineering and pipeline development (Scio and/or Flight)

Experience working in large-scale, distributed systems environments

Strong architectural thinking and ability to own technical solutions end-to-end

Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and delivery-focused mindset

Strong communication skills and experience leading technical discussions

Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams

Experience from E-commerce or FinTech environments is considered valuable
