Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Develop scalable, platform-agnostic components and deliver robust, high-quality backend functionality.

Write clear, efficient, and maintainable C++ code, ensuring long-term stability and performance.

Collaborate closely with mobile teams working in Kotlin and Swift to ensure seamless functionality across platforms.

Perform root cause analysis using logs, data insights, and code inspection to solve complex technical challenges.

Contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks, tools, and performance evaluation methods.

Participate in a distributed, asynchronous workflow that values autonomy, clarity, and high-quality communication.

Drive technical excellence and support a first-class user experience through problem-solving, collaboration, and thoughtful design.

What you bring:

3-5 years of experience as a software engineer with strong ability in C++, and a solid understanding of how it differs from languages such as Java or Swift.

Ability to design, develop, and maintain stable, well-structured, and efficient C++ codebases.

Strong interest in working with data and using data-driven insights to support decisions and guide improvements.

Commitment to writing and maintaining clear, thorough documentation.

Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, technologies, and approaches.

Enjoyment of collaboration, including pair programming and shared problem-solving.

Comfort and experience working effectively in an asynchronous, distributed team environment

Fluent in English and Swedish
