Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Develop and modernize backend services for user identity in a global digital platform.

Contribute to the migration of large-scale user data to a new identity model.

Implement logic for unique usernames and secure public identifiers across the account lifecycle.

Build and integrate scalable data pipelines and processing systems for reliable identity data management.

Collaborate closely with cross-functional technology and product teams to ensure secure, seamless and scalable implementations.

What you bring:

Experience as a Senior Backend Engineer designing, building and operating large-scale distributed systems, primarily using Java.

Strong ability to write clean, testable and maintainable code with a focus on reliability and performance.

Proven experience designing systems for scalability, robustness and high observability, as well as working with large data sets.

Ability to lead technical discussions, influence architecture and collaborate effectively across multiple teams.

Confidence in taking end-to-end ownership of complex initiatives from design to production operations.

Pragmatic, results-oriented mindset with the ability to balance technical quality, delivery speed and user value.

Strong interest in user identity, data integrity and building secure backend systems that enable social and collaborative user experiences

Fluent in English and Swedish.
