Assignment Description:

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team.

What you will work on:

Contribute as a senior Automation Engineer in the development and delivery of advanced industrial automation products and systems

Support two new, strategic projects for both new customers and next-generation product platforms

Design, develop, program, and test industrial control systems with a strong focus on PLC-based automation

Work extensively with Siemens PLC platforms, including programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting

Collaborate in cross-functional project teams within product development and engineering environments

Participate in development activities spanning concept, design, implementation, testing, and delivery

Support automation solutions used in industrial environments related to heat transfer, separation, and flow management

Apply best practices in automation engineering to ensure quality, reliability, and performance

Contribute to documentation, version handling, and structured development processes

Engage with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet technical, operational, and customer requirements

What you bring:

Senior-level experience as an Automation Engineer within industrial automation

Strong hands-on experience with PLC programming, particularly Siemens platforms

Experience with Rockwell / Allen Bradley systems is highly valued

Solid background working with industrial control systems

Experience from R&D organizations is an advantage

Knowledge of revision and configuration management processes is a merit

Familiarity with cybersecurity principles in industrial automation environments is a plus

Experience working in GMP-regulated environments is beneficial

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in project-driven environments

Clear communication skills and a professional consulting mindset
