SAP Software Asset Manager

Skills Required:

Demonstrated professional expertise in license management, administration, software licensing, and SAP Software Asset Management (SAM)

Comprehensive knowledge of SAP licensing principles, contractual aspects, and audit processes, with hands-on experience

Familiarity with ServiceNow SAM Pro (preferred)

Proven ability to work effectively in global, cross-cultural environments

Excellent communication and presentation abilities

Strong sense of end-to-end responsibility and ownership

Proficiency in analyzing multi-source data

Technical background (considered an advantage)

Full professional fluency in English (mandatory)

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee license consumption metering processes, including software and consumption-based licenses. Conduct audits and assessments to ensure compliance with SAP licensing terms, addressing gaps or risks as needed.

Analyze license usage to optimize allocation and identify underutilized licenses, reassignment opportunities, and actionable recommendations.

Maintain a centralized repository for SAP license contracts, agreements, POs, and invoices. Ensure documents are up-to-date, well-documented, and accessible. Engage with SAP vendors when necessary.

Support the procurement of software in adherence to client policies.

Assist in preparing and monitoring the budget for software licenses and products.

Provide support during external audit processes.

Advise project, program, infrastructure, and application portfolio managers on software licensing compliance and optimizations to streamline the portfolio.

Generate internal SAP licensing reports, including compliance analysis.
