Job Description

The ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Europe (AMTP) division is seeking an experienced Sales Manager Nordic to drive revenue growth, develop key accounts, and maintain strong customer relationships. The Sales Manager will be responsible for implementing strategies to meet our organizational objectives.

The position is based in Sweden (Goteborg area).

As Sales Manager, your main responsibilities will be:
  • Sales Strategy & Planning:
    o Develop and implement a comprehensive sales plan aligned with company goals.
    o Set individual and team sales targets and create actionable plans to meet those targets.
    o Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for growth, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    o Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
    o Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated customer inquiries and problem resolution.
    o Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through effective account management and service quality.
  • Sales Performance & Reporting:
    o Monitor and report on sales performance, using KPIs to track team and individual achievements.
    o Prepare regular sales forecasts, budget updates, and strategic reports for senior management.
    o Identify areas for improvement in the sales process and work to optimize efficiency.
  • Market Research & Competitor Analysis:
    o Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and emerging market demands.
    o Conduct market research to better understand customer needs and preferences.
    o Implement competitive strategies to gain a larger market share and increase profitability.


Profile:
  • Education: Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Experience: 5 to 10y experience in the steel tube industry; alternatively, experience in steel or a related industry, operating in industrial markets
  • Skills:
    o Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
    o Independent, proactive, and results-driven personality with entrepreneurial spirit
    o Ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships, seek new business from making initial contact to maintaining ongoing communication with customers
    o Fluent in English and Swedish; additional languages are considered an advantage
    o Analytical skills with a strategic mindset, understanding the impact on P&L
    o Intimate view on economic, industry, and market trends
    o Ability to manage in periods of extreme volatility of price and market uncertainty
    o Results-driven and customer-focused
    o Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel regularly to visit customers
