Sales & Business Development Manager

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden

Become a part of our talented deugro team, as we look for a Sales & Business Development Manager inGothenburg, Sweden.

Key responsibilities:
  • Create and manage business from existing customers and investigate and develop new potential customers/business that will ensure revenue growth and profitability
  • Knowing customer needs and building up relationships
  • Leading business development and sales activities and process of sourcing competitive rates from respective subcontractors
  • Taking commercial decisions of how and what to offer to customers including identification of relevant scope of work and terms & conditions
  • Working closely with Branch- and Operations Management on efficient implementation of new business and customers to maximize the profit
  • Identify new opportunities for customer and business growth within new and existing markets, products and regions
  • Long term goal is, to build up a business development and if necessary commercial team to achieve continuous growth and development for the branch


Skills, knowledge and expertise:
  • At least five years' experience in international project freight forwarding including key roles in Sales or Business Development
  • In depth commercial knowledge of international freight forwarding covering all transport modes
  • Having tendering experience and thus being able to lead tender management process on selected projects
  • Highly self-motivated and pro-active, as well as analytical and well-organized
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members
  • Willingness to travel and very good English skills, verbal and written
