Job descriptionPosition Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Requirement Manager/Engineer to strengthen our requirements management capabilities. This role offers the unique opportunity to shape both the process and tool selection for requirement management while bridging the gap between project requesters and solution delivery teams across global sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive requirements from Product Planning (PPL) and break them down to Product Owners, Feature Leaders, and Attribute Leaders
- Work with requirements on Complete Vehicle (CV) level
- Create and establish the requirement management process and select appropriate tools (benchmarking systems like SystemWeaver, Dimensions RM)
- Collect and organize stakeholder needs and support formulation of performance needs into requirements
- Define Transport System Requirements, balance and review requirements, and report status on vehicle level
- Report fulfilment of requirements for prioritized feature/attribute areas to ensure maximum customer value
- Act as the bridge between project requesters and delivery teams, coordinating with colleagues across global sites
- Drive multiple requirement areas, balance and harmonize defined requirements for assigned projects
Required Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of professional experience in requirements management or related fields
- Two possible backgrounds:
- Extensive experience in requirement breakdown, OR
- Strong process understanding and expertise with requirement management tools (SystemWeaver, Dimensions, or similar)
- Proven experience working with requirements - previous roles as Attribute Leader, Feature Leader, or similar
- Experience in benchmarking requirement management systems and establishing new processes
- Truck product knowledge (strong merit)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to build networks across global teams
- Goal-oriented with strong analytical and balancing capabilities
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
Strong Merits:
- Volvo Group experience
- Knowledge of internal Volvo systems and documentation systems for requirements
- Experience with SystemWeaver or Dimensions RM
- Background in Vehicle Architecture or Complete Vehicle engineering
- Open and communicative attitude with ability to build strong networks
- Team player who enjoys developing both yourself and those around you
- Structured and analytical with ability to balance multiple requirement areas
- Adaptable to working with colleagues across different global sites
