If you enjoy delivering world-class service and want to take ownership of a professional front desk function, this could be the role for you. We are now looking for a receptionist to join our Facilities Services team at our head office in Lund.

About the role

As a Receptionist, you are the first point of contact for visitors, partners and employees. You represent the company daily and are responsible for maintaining a professional and well-functioning reception environment. We are looking for an outgoing and service-minded person who enjoys being the public face of the organization and contributing to a positive experience for both visitors and employees.

Your future team

You will be part of the Facilities External & Internal Services department, which includes service desk, reception, event and conference services, as well as mail and courier services. Together with related teams such as Premises and Security, the department ensures a high level of service and a safe, stimulating work environment for all employees in Lund. We value teamwork highly and support one another in our daily work. Being part of the team means being engaged, flexible and willing to step in when needed.

Work tasks

Professionally welcome and assist visitors, partners and suppliers

Independently manage incoming calls and shared email inbox

Handle internal service requests via digital case management systems

Perform structured administrative tasks and documentation

Manage mail and courier services, including registration and distribution

Handle invoices and perform numerical follow-up

Coordinate smaller assignments and contribute to process improvements

Ensure compliance with internal routines and security procedures

We are looking for

3-5 years of documented experience from a professional service role (e.g. reception, front desk, hospitality or similar)

Completed upper secondary education

Experience from a front desk / meet & greet environment

Confident user of Microsoft 365 and SharePoint

Fluent Swedish and exceptional English, both written and spoken

Meritorious

Post-secondary education within service management, hospitality or equivalent

Experience with invoice handling and basic financial administration

This role requires a high level of professionalism, structure and service maturity, where you are expected to work independently, manage parallel tasks with accuracy and maintain consistent service standards in line with internal routines and security procedures. In this position, you will meet colleagues, partners and visitors from across the globe and will often be their first impression of Axis in Lund.

Location: Lund

Working hours: 8 hours between 07:30 and 17:00

About the assignment: You will be employed by Academic Work on a six-month consulting assignment, after which there is a possibility of over-recruitment
