This is a fix term internship position for 6 months.

The role:
The Nordic Range Manager oversees the Category range management in the commercial area. Supporting the Category Manager in driving volumes, pricing, share and profitability of the Category and executing the PL Strategy. He/she owns the range management process and is accountable for range communication, range optimization of the Category.

As a Range Manager you would oversee category managementfor your categories, support the Category Manager in driving the strategy of your categories and execute the Product Line Strategy by owning the range management process. In your day-to-day job you would be working with optimizing and managing the range making sure it is the most consumer relevant with a logic and organized structure to delivery sustainable, long-term growth for your categories. You will work close to sales and marketing to define the right consumer experience and with the central European functions to manage the whole product lifecycle process.

To be fit for the job you are a structured and organized individual with passion and drive to fully own your area of responsibility, collaborating cross touchpoints with ease. To succeed you are precise with a good commercial mindset as well as the ability to learn a large and complex scope fast.

Your main tasks:
  • Own the Range Management process in our product management system
  • Create range based on consumer relevancy, market opportunities and product portfolio
  • Work closely with factories to manage product planning and phase in/phase out
  • Product and Price information maintenance in internal applications
  • Support Category manager on the planning and execution of the product launch.
  • Work closely with demand plan team to plan and manage the product phase in and phase out.
  • Produce supporting material, key messages and product training to ensure that trainers and sales team are fully equipped to sell the products before launch. Support product trainers.
  • Support with product presentations internally and externally.
  • Support Category Manger in Market Analysis


Qualifications:
• Bachelor or Master degree.
• Min 3-5 years of experience in a Sales Division or Product related area.
• Team player, able to influence and work in a matrix organization.
• Good communicator and to build networks.
• A proactive hands-on person, Self-Starter, result-driven. Can work independently.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Financial understanding.
• Excellent computer skills, especially in MS Excel, Power Point.
• Fluent in English.
