Kambi are looking for a highly motivated and experienced self-starter to join our quantitative analysis team in central Stockholm. For the right candidate, the position will provide the opportunity to research and develop cutting-edge algorithmic solutions to support our B2B Sportsbook operations. You will take a leading role in cross-functional teams, building complete trading solutions, and where your main responsibility will be to develop and maintain sport models. You will report to the Head of Quantitative Analytics.
Main responsibilities:
Support and work in close collaboration with trading, risk and other areas of the business by providing algorithmic solutions
Responsible for the end-to-end process of algorithm development, from inception to deployment as well as maintenance
Analysis and interpretation of data to produce meaningful information, in particular changes in patterns and trends
Communicate results and ideas to stakeholders
Skills and experience:
An academic degree in a quantitative discipline (computer science, mathematics, physics, etc.)
Previous experience in a similar role designing predictive models for real-world business problems
Advanced knowledge of stochastic processes, mathematical methods and probability theory
Proficiency with C/C++ and Python, in particular having worked in software teams (git) is a plus
Experience using statistical and query computer languages (R/SQL) to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with cloud computing (AWS) is a plus
