An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Aon's M&A and Transactions Solutions ("AMATS") Nordic practice (based in Stockholm) as a Project Associate. Are you looking to kick-start your career in M&A and transaction solutions? This Project Associate role offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate as well as candidate with up to one year of relevant experience who are eager to learn and grow in a dynamic and international environment.

The AMATS team is a combined practice of Warranty & Indemnity Insurance ("W&I"), Tax Insurance, Risk & Insurance Due Diligence, Contingent & Litigation Risk Insurance Human Capital Transaction Advisory Services, Cyber and Intellectual Property experts with a dedicated focus on transactional activity. We are seeking a candidate for a Project Associate position focused on W&I.

The primary responsibility of the Project Associate will be to support the team across all aspects of W&I projects. The work will consist of drafting, reviewing and handling key transaction documents, structuring W&I processes, working with clients and advisors in the W&I placement process, preparing pitch-decks and participating in sales meetings.

What the day will look like

• Drafting, reviewing and handling key transaction documents.
• Support the team in advising clients (buyers, sellers, private equity, law firms, and corporates) on the use, benefits, and structuring of W&I in M&A transactions.
• Handle the placement process for W&I policies - identify suitable insurers, coordinate with insurance markets, and secure competitive terms and coverage for clients.
• Coordinate with clients, insurers, and legal advisors to gather information, review transaction documents and help underwriters assess deal risks.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

We are looking for someone who is ambitious and a supportive teammate, eager to learn and proactive with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You should also be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting. In addition, we are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree in law or economics
• Experience in insurance, legal or finance is welcomed but not required
• Fluency in written and spoken English (in addition to a Scandinavian language)
