What you'll do at Elekta

We are seeking a Product Surveillance Engineer for our Business Line Neuro Solutions. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining the Post Market Surveillance (PMS) Plans and Reports for the Neuro business (Leksell Gamma Knife, Leksell Gamma Plan, Leksell Stereotactic Systems, Leksell Vantage Stereotactic System, Leksell Neurosurgical Instruments). The work consists of collecting and analyzing real-world data related to product safety and performance and identifying trends through customer feedback information and clinical publications. This role also includes creating literature search protocols and executing the literature search reports that are used for the Post market clinical follow up reports, clinical evaluation reports and Summary of safety and performance reports.

This role requires substantial interaction across functional organizations including Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Service, Product Management, and Clinical Affairs.

The responsibilities are

• Creation of post market surveillance plans.
• Creation of Periodic Safety Update Reports for Europe as well as other PMS reports as required for other geographies.
• Collecting and analyzing post market evidence relevant for Elekta's neuro products.
• Creation and execution of PMS surveys.
• Analysis of complaints and data analysis as needed for the post market reports.
• Creation of Literature Search Plans and Reports.
• Translate post-market surveillance and real-world data into actionable insights for Product Management, supporting understanding of Neuro product performance, usage, and clinical value.
• Implementing and executing the Global PMS process.

Relevant knowledge, skills and competencies:

Formal Education & Certification

Master's degree level in Life Sciences or Medical.

Experience & Knowledge

• 5+ years of industry experience (medical device) required that includes creating PMS plans and reports including be able to perform tasks needed for the inputs: analytics of complaint data; literature search, executing customer surveys.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken.
• Must understand, follow, and comply with regulatory requirements as applicable to various processes especially the Post market surveillance process as required by the EU medical device regulation as well as that of other countries
• But have experience in analyzing data, presenting insights clearly, and drawing well-founded conclusions to support decision-making.

Additional local information

This role is reporting to Head of Product Management Neuro Solutions, and the work location will be in our beautiful office "Forskaren" in the Stockholm city center. This is not a Remote role and requires on-site 4 days a week.
