Product Owner Mobile Apps

Are you passionate about creating exceptional mobile experiences and leading high-performing teams? We're looking for a Product Owner to join our international mobile app development team and drive the success of our product.

About the Role

As our Product Owner for Mobile Apps, you'll run a distributed team of mobile and backend developers, focusing on continuous improvement and delivery. Working closely with both development and design teams, you'll optimize processes, remove impediments, and ensure efficient delivery of high-quality features. You'll analyze user feedback, research results, and stakeholder input to make informed recommendations for product improvements. Reporting to the Lead Product Owner, you'll be instrumental in shaping our mobile product strategy and ensuring its successful execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate the work of a distributed development team, ensuring smooth agile processes and team productivity
• Own and manage the product backlog, including prioritization, refinement, and ensuring alignment with both business objectivesand user outcomes
• Collaborate with product design teams to define and validate solution approaches
• Engage in customer research to gather insights and validate product decisions
• Support the Lead Product Owner in implementing product vision and roadmap
• Drive the successful delivery of mobile app features from conception to launch
• Work closely with international stakeholders across the DERTOUR Group
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, specifically with mobile app development
• Strong understanding of Scrum framework and agile methodologies
• Experience in managing distributed development teams
• Strong technical understanding of mobile app development and backend systems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken, proficiency in German, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, or Czech is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field

• Experience working with complex technical platforms and multiple stakeholders
• Strong understanding of mobile app architecture and development technologies
• Experience in the travel industry
• Background in software development or technical product management
• Experience with product analytics and data-driven decision making
