Product Designer - Strawberry Portal

What you will be doing:
The main purpose for this role is to create a best in class user and employee experience for our internal product Strawberry Portal.

The Strawberry Portal is designed to be our hotels' number one assistant in delivering a personalized experience for both users and guests. We do this by providing a 360 view of our guests by combining data from multiple sources & fulfillment systems to enable operational excellence. We will also enable self-service capabilities in the form of a centralized knowledge base and administrative rights to hotel information. The tool has endless possibilities and we're currently in an early stage of evolving the portal - an exciting time to join and have the opportunity to impact the future of the product.

You will be working with the Product Owner, cross functional teams, hotel operations and key stakeholders in defining the user experience to understand the underlying needs for features we want to develop and maintain going forward.

This role will give you an opportunity to work across different business entities in Strawberry helping them use technology to support operational and business needs, as well as realizing strategic goals.

As a designer in the team, you will manage the entire design process, from initial exploration to user research, concept development, user testing, and delivering high-end UI design ready for implementation by developers. Adapting the design process to meet stakeholder needs and project timelines is crucial. You'll employ a user-centered approach, creating prototypes and wireframes, iterating design solutions rapidly, and conducting usability testing to ensure the best outcomes.
Who we think you are:
We believe you have between 3 -5 years of experience in UX and UI design, with a solid understanding of various design methodologies and the wisdom to know when to use which. You should be experienced in conducting research and testing, producing UI, and collaborating closely with product owners, other designers, and developers throughout the development process. You have hands-on experience with digital accessibility. Proficiency in Figma and maintaining a design system is essential. Experience from the hospitality business and design of internal systems is a plus.

You likely hold a degree in UX, interactive design, or a related field and have thrived in a fast-paced business environment where taking initiative is key. As a great team player, you enjoy inspiring and having fun with your colleagues. Strong communication skills are vital for collaborating with stakeholders in a rapidly changing environment. You challenge common perceptions of our guests' experiences and discuss design solutions enthusiastically.

Detail-oriented and a critical thinker, you approach problems with a positive, can-do attitude. You have a knack for problem-solving and logical thinking, always keeping an eye on the next innovation and the latest trends.
