The Opportunity

Hitachi Energy Figeholm manufactures electrical insulation materials from paper pulp such as sheets, laminates and strips. The material is used as insulation in Power transformers. The components are sold as assembled and pre-assembled kits as well as complete kits packed in assembly order. The material we manufacture has high requirements for purity, electrical and mechanical properties.

We have a strong family feeling in a flat organization, and are part of a global group with customers all over the world. We are now looking for a dedicated process engineer to optimize and improve the manufacturing processes. As a process owner, you have an important role in ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness and high-quality production of our energy solutions.

How you will make an impact

In the role of Process Engineer, you will develop and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, and workflows to increase productivity and improve quality.

You will analyze, design, and perform tests to collect data to support decision-making.

Evaluate and implement new manufacturing equipment.

The role also includes collaboration with other internal units such as production, R&D, quality and maintenance to find improvements and changes in the processes.

Develop and update technical documentation.

Ensure that all process improvements comply with applicable safety, environmental and quality standards.

Your background

You have an engineering degree and possess a strong analytical and problem-solving ability

As a person, you are communicative in the way you collaborate. You enjoy taking responsibility and working in teams.

You speak and write fluent Swedish. Good knowledge of English is an advantage.

Previous experience as a process owner in the paper and pulp industry, in manufacturing or project management is meritorious.

Meritorious knowledge in Lean or Six Sigma.

As a person, you are good at prioritizing and solving problems. You analyze what's wrong and find solutions. You are calm and communicative in the way you collaborate. You enjoy taking responsibility and working in teams.
