We are now looking to strengthen our team with motivated and detail-oriented Precious Metal Evaluators.

Position Overview

As a Precious Metal Evaluator, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate, consistent, and professional evaluation of precious metal items acquired through field and in-office operations. You will also contribute to maintaining transparency, compliance, and operational efficiency in the handling and documentation of all transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluating gold items using company-provided tools and techniques (e.g., purity testing, weighing, valuation)

  • Overseeing the gold assessment process to ensure accuracy and consistency in valuations across different locations and staff

  • Supporting the precious metal evaluating team by providing quality assurance and resolving inquiries related to gold content, purity, or pricing

  • Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring that physical gold stock aligns with internal records and systems

  • Ensuring operational compliance with the company’s gold handling protocols, ethical standards, and local regulatory guidelines

  • Collaborating with finance teams and gold delivery points to ensure the smooth handling, transport, and reconciliation of purchased gold


    Qualifications & Competencies

  • Prior experience in gold or jewelry appraisal is a strong asset—this could include work in a pawn shop, jewelry store, or institutions dealing with gold loans

  • Knowledge of precious metals, weighing/scanning tools/Testing Acids, and valuation practices is preferred

  • Excellent attention to detail and high integrity when handling valuable items

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate records

  • Fluency in English is required

Salary range is 27 500sek-30 000sek
