What you will do
Based in our Auckland office and reporting to the National Pre-Sales Manager, this role is all about building strong relationships and ensuring expectations are met every step of the way.

As a Pre-Sales Product Engineer, you'll play an important role in supporting both our team and customers by providing expert guidance throughout the sales process.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering solution consulting across the full sales cycle to internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting technical assessments for new vehicles, including local adaptations
  • Providing technical training to both internal teams and customers
  • Reviewing vehicle specifications to ensure they are fit for purpose and meet compliance requirements


About you
We're looking for someone who is passionate about the heavy automotive industry and enjoys working collaboratively to deliver great outcomes.
Ideally, you will bring:

  • A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
  • Qualifications in Heavy Vehicle On-Road Transport
  • Experience in the New Zealand heavy vehicle industry (an advantage)
  • Knowledge of New Zealand transport legislation (an advantage)
  • A New Zealand Class 4 driver's licence (preferred)


You'll also have:

  • Strong time management, organisation, and communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Confidence using MS Office applications
  • Experience with design tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
  • The ability to influence and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
