Job Description
We are looking for a Planning Officer to join the Strategy, Risk & Transactions Advisory team in Stockholm, where you will manage our daily staffing operations, matching our consultants' skills and availability with client needs and project requirements. You will be responsible for the resource planning for a number of teams, working closely with a Strategic Planning Manager, partners, and project leaders. In your daily work, you will be in close contact with a large number of leaders and consultants, and you will quickly create an internal network and a broad understanding of the business. You will be essential to keep our staffing processes running smoothly while ensuring the right people are in the right projects at the right time. In addition to continuous project staffing, you will be a part of driving the development of tools and reports used in resource planning, analyses of utilization and forecasts.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitor and manage consultant bookings in our planning tool
- Match consultant skills and competencies with client requirements and project needs
- Manage staffing requests and ensure balanced project allocation, at times challenging leaders in their planning
- Generate and distribute staffing reports (availability, weekly updates)
- Manage holiday planning and internal mobility
- Keep staffing systems updated with accurate consultant data (skills, experience levels, availability)
- Track client requirements and project demands to ensure optimal matching
- Support IT system development and drive/support process improvements
- Participate in staffing forums and onboarding activities
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments, including counterparts in other countries
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have an education within business administration or similar
- Have previous experience (1-5 years) within resource planning or in other administrative roles, preferably from the professional services industry
- Are fluent in Swedish and English
