About the position and the GP practice
You will join a modern, well-run medical practice with experienced support staff and a clear focus on quality and continuity. The clinic is equipped to handle a broad spectrum of primary care tasks, and you will work with an established patient list covering both acute and long-term needs.
As a GP, your clinical work will range from acute care and minor procedures to chronic disease management, follow-up of elderly patients, children and families. You will work independently while still being part of a supportive, accessible professional environment.
The out-of-hours service is inter-municipal, with 24-hour nursing coverage and a well-structured GP rota, ensuring both safety and predictability in emergency situations.
Working environment
A modern practice with stable operations and solid staffing
A varied patient list (approximately 1000 patients)
Close collaboration with nurses, midwives, mental health and addiction services, and physiotherapists
Good access to laboratory services and digital tools

Professional requirements
Medical license and specialist approval from an EU country.
Specialist in family medicine, preferably with minimum two years of experience.
Good communication skills in English, and motivated to learn Norwegian.
Experience in pediatric medicine and infant check-ups.
Experience in gynecological examinations in an office setting.
Skilled in minor surgical procedures.
Ability to handle a broad variety of patients and diagnoses independently.
Class B driver's license.
A clean criminal record must be documented through a police certificate in accordance with the Health Personnel Act.
