We're looking for an Operations Engineer to join us at Telia.

I'm Philip Olsson, Head of IP Service Monitoring, and I'm searching for someone who's curious, eager to learn, and ready to grow with us. We're a supportive, forward-thinking team focused on monitoring the IP network, handling incidents, and coordinating technicians and resources during major events across Telia's footprint.

What you'll do:
You'll be part of the frontline team safeguarding the stability of Telia's IP network. Here, you'll learn how a major international telecom operator works under the hood - and you'll play a key role in improving how we operate.

• Monitor and manage IP network platforms across the Nordics, Baltics, and international markets
• Identify, analyze, report, and resolve incidents in a fast-moving environment
• Coordinate technicians and resources during service-affecting events
• Collaborate across technical domains to solve problems and refine our ways of working
• Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Work in a secure facility as part of a 24/7 rotating shift schedule
  

What will help you thrive in this role:
You're driven by curiosity and enjoy learning new things. You like working with others, sharing knowledge, and finding smarter ways to solve problems.

• Strong advantages: networking knowledge (e.g., CCNA/CCNP level), ITIL or incident management experience
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and make well-informed decisions
• Comfortable communicating with technicians and supporting cross-domain coordination
• Interest in network monitoring, routing, switching, and operational processes
• Fluency in Swedish and English
