Are you ready to lead the operational backbone of a fast-growing freight forwarding business in Sweden? We're looking for a strategic and hands-onOperations Directorto drive service excellence, operational efficiency, and innovation across our logistics network.

This is a pivotal leadership role in a newly established division, offering the chance to shape operations from the ground up and make a lasting impact in one of Europe's key logistics hubs.

Your Impact

As Operations Director, you will:

• Lead and manage freight forwarding operations across Sweden.
• Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with global business goals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to boost productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with commercial, finance, and product teams to support growth.
• Monitor KPIs and operational performance, reporting to senior leadership.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate service contracts.
• Champion digital transformation and automation within operations.
• Act as a key escalation point for operational challenges.
• Foster a culture of safety, quality, and collaboration across teams.

What You Bring

Qualifications:

• Proven success in managing freight forwarding operations.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities.
• Strategic thinker with sound decision-making capabilities.

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years in transport, logistics, or freight forwarding.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and complex logistics networks.
• Deep understanding of compliance and operational best practices.

Skills:
