We are seeking aDirectorto leadsenior sales coverage across the Nordic region, based in Sweden. The focuses onGFX sales coveragefor sophisticated Nordic clients, working closely with trading, structuring, and regional coverage teams.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and deepen senior client relationships across the Nordic region, positioning the Bank as a trusted long-term partner
- Lead senior-level client dialogue on macroeconomic developments and their implications for FX risk management
- Drive the placement of the GFX solutions product suite, leveraging the strength of the Nordic franchise to grow market share
- Partner closely with GFX trading and structuring to deliver tailored, client-centric solutions
- Proactively drive GFX sales coverage for Nordic clients across linear, nonlinear, and electronic/workflow solutions
- Collaborate with GFX trading and structuring to deliver integrated FX solutions and expand wallet share
- Coordinate across product, coverage, and regional teams to maximize origination and execution outcomes
- Act as a senior representative of the franchise in the Nordic region, contributing to regional strategy and client planning
- Support and mentor more junior team members, fostering a high-performing and collaborative culture
Skills
- Fluent English speaker
- Extensive and proven expertise in Global FX products
- Strong understanding of GFX solutions, particularly in a Nordic context
- 5-10+ years of experience in a Nordic or global bank, with direct exposure to the Nordic market
- Demonstrated track record in senior client coverage and origination
- Strong macroeconomic awareness and ability to translate market developments into actionable client solutions
- Advanced quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret economic and business data and assess implications for client needs
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to prioritize resources to maximize client and franchise value
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly driven, collaborative, and committed to the success of the broader team
