About the Assignment

You will join a global network team in an international engineering and manufacturing environment, working with the design, implementation, and operations of enterprise network infrastructure. The focus is on delivering secure, reliable, and high-performing wired and wireless connectivity across a distributed organization.

In this role, you will also help optimize and evolve solutions such as Cisco ISE and Catalyst Center (or equivalent technologies), contributing to efficient operations and improved network security.

Job DescriptionDesign, implement, and manage enterprise network infrastructure (wired and wireless)

Ensure network security, reliability, and performance across the environment

Work with NAC and access control, with a strong emphasis on 802.1X

Operate and improve monitoring and automation capabilities for network operations

Manage and troubleshoot firewalls (e.g., Fortigate, Palo Alto)

Support and develop connectivity solutions using technologies such as SD-WAN and MPLS

Contribute to continuous improvements around tooling and operational excellence, including Cisco ISE and Catalyst Center

RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent

Proficiency in network protocols and technologies, especially 802.1X

Hands-on experience with network monitoring and automation

Solid experience managing firewalls (e.g., Fortigate, Palo Alto)

In-depth knowledge of SD-WAN and MPLS

Nice to haveStrong understanding of network security principles and best practices (segmentation, NAC, firewalling, zero trust concepts)

Experience with observability and troubleshooting tools (SNMP, NetFlow, logs, packet inspection)

Hands-on experience with enterprise wireless networking (design, deployment, RF optimization, troubleshooting, 802.11 / 802.1X)

Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Ansible, Python, or similar)

Familiarity with SDN technologies and modern network automation concepts
