About the role

We're looking for a Machine Learning Engineer / Data Scientist to build, improve and productionize ML models and data products across the company. You'll work end-to-end - from discovery and feature engineering to deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement - turning business needs into reliable, measurable solutions in production.

Our data/ML function is in an early phase, which means you'll have real influence. We're looking for someone who enjoys building from the ground up: shaping best practices, creating reusable patterns, and helping define how we develop, deploy, and operate ML at Enklare.

This role is for someone who enjoys building real systems: models that run reliably (batch and/or real-time), are versioned, monitored, and continuously iterated.

What you'll do

• Develop and improve ML models and decision systems across multiple domains (e.g. customer experience, marketing, credit)
• Build robust feature pipelines and reusable data assets together with engineering
• Deploy models to production (API and/or batch), with strong validation, reproducibility and versioning
• Set up monitoring for model performance, data drift, calibration and operational reliability
• Run experiments and impact follow-up: measure outcomes, iterate, and document learnings
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, DevOps and Compliance to ship safely and fast

What we're looking for

• Experience as an ML Engineer, Data Scientist, or similar building production ML systems
• Strong Python skills and hands-on experience with modern ML tooling
• Proven ability to productionize models (e.g. Docker, CI/CD, APIs, batch jobs, model registry/versioning)
• Solid understanding of evaluation and lifecycle management (metrics, drift, retraining strategies, reliability)
• Structured, ownership-driven, and able to communicate clearly in English (Swedish is a plus)
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and taking initiative - you like building structure where it doesn't exist yet
