About the Assignment

You will join an engineering team focused on 2-stroke engine development within the forest & garden industry. The role has a strong mechanical design focus, working with cylinder and piston design as well as rotating system design, in close collaboration with colleagues across product development.

Job DescriptionCreate part designs including 3D models and 2D drawings.

Interpret simulation results and use findings to improve and iterate design solutions.

Perform tolerance investigations.

Support product maintenance, including product and cost improvements.

Participate in technical discussions related to 3D and 2D design.

RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience with Catia.

Experience working with SmartTeam.

Experience working with PLM Teamcenter.

Technical knowledge of engines.

Good understanding of components in steel and aluminum, or experience with manufacturing methods such as die casting, forging, machining, or sintering.
