How you will make an impact:

We are looking for someone who is passionate about and has a degree in marketing, media or communications to help us fill a parental leave of absence for 1 year. We work as a team of self-starters, in a high-trust environment, where, as individuals we are pulled into complex tasks in front of the computer screen before working face-to-face with fellow associates and customers. If you enjoy working in an international workplace and have some years of experience of organizing events, then we may have the perfect job for you.

• Coordinate execution of customer events, alongside Marketing Manager and Director.
• Coordinate resources for Crane-sponsored industry conferences.
• Coordinate the marketing materials database and materials inventory.
• With direction from the Marketing Manager, coordinate day-to-day marketing activities to meet short- and long-term business objectives, and comply with safety and security requirements.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
Required:

• Education: Minimum of an Associate degree required; a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics,International Business, or Communications is strongly preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a Marketing or Sales function with customer focus.
• Language: High proficiency in English, capable to proofread text and create content.
• Communication: Able to express ideas clearly and confidently, both in writing and verbally.
• IT: Very strong working knowledge and/or experience in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Umbraco or other web based platform. Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro CC, SharePoint, Salesforce.
• Willingness to travel internationally 3-4 times per year, and on short notice.

Preferred:

• Analytically focused studies (e.g., programming or statistics) are a plus
• Proficiency in additional languages are a plus.
