Do you have experience from the Automotive sector and a passion to drive sales towards large clients within that space? If so, this is the role for you. We are currently seeking an individual with a strong background in driving sales and business development initiatives within the Automotive sector.

What we are looking for
We are currently looking for an Account Director with management consulting experience and deep knowledge and understanding of the Automotive manufacturing market in combination with a high business acumen. The Account Director will work with senior level contacts at our clients, and with senior stakeholders within our firm making sure we connect the right people at the right time with our clients. We are looking for someone who can help growing KPMG's position in the market and establish us as the insight leader within the sector.

As a member of Management Consulting, you will be part of a team responsible for our growth journey - how we go to market with the customer in focus and systematically build business relationships within our business areas.

Your role

As an Account Director, you will be part of the Key Accounts within Management Consulting, responsible for driving our sales initiatives in line with our global strategy. You will be part of the core team with one of our most important clients within the sector and play an important role in leading and coordinating our sales efforts, ensuring all involved parties work towards common goals in the process. The right candidate understands the client's business objectives and thrives in an environment where focus is on building relationships and identify opportunities for expansion. As part of your role, you will also be involved in delivery within your area of expertise from time to time. The position is based at our office in Gothenburg.

Your role will involve:
  • Projects: Lead and manage Automotive transformation projects, ensuring successful delivery and provide insights to improve client functions.
  • Strategic relationship building: Build and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Business growth: Drive year-on-year growth by identifying new opportunities and expanding existing client relationships.
  • Market intelligence: Gather, analyze and share insights on market developments, competitors and client needs.
  • Account leadership: Lead account teams and oversee commercial aspects to ensure quality and profitability.

We are looking for someone who

It is also important that you are communicative and relationship-building to manage the trust we have built with our internal colleagues, clients, and external partners. We believe you are currently in a role that includes sales, account- and stakeholder management.

More specifically, we would like you to have:
  • Proven sales success: Experience in driving sales and managing successful sales initiatives
  • Industry expertise: Deep knowledge of the Automotive sector
  • Consulting experience: Background in Management consulting, Strategy consulting, Deal services, IT or similar consulting
  • Leadership skills: Ability to coach, challenge, and influence senior stakeholders
  • Educational background: Academic education and +10 years of work experience
  • Language proficiency: Fluency in Swedish and English
