Tool Mechanic (m/f/*)

The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As aTool Mechanicat our manufacturing site inVarnamo, Swedenyou will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

As a Tool Mechanic, you will be part of a highly committed team that takes pride in maintaining strong work ethics and ensuring our molding tools remain in excellent condition and safe for our employees to use.

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Perform preventive, corrective and emergency actions on our production equipment
• Repair tools and make root cause analysis
• Manufacture spare parts
• Participating in EHS activities
• Actively participating in the day-to-day operations specifically tier process

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:

• Holds an engineering qualification or has significant proven relevant professional experience
• Possesses knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
• Experienced in operating workshop machinery such as milling machines, lathes, and similar equipment
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities
• Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working with computer-based systems
• Experienced in interpreting and analyzing technical blueprints
• Proficiency in both Swedish and English is required

Job specifics:

• Location - Varnamo, Sweden
• Working pattern - full-time - Mon - Thurs 0700-1600 Fri - 0700-1430
