What you'll do
As the Legal Counsel, you will be the sole legal architect translating global regulations and legal risks into clear, actionable strategies that secure our business operations and drive growth. You'll act as a strategic partner and operational executor to the Executive team and across all departments. Reporting to the CFO you'll be part of our Operations team consisting of Finance, IT and Legal.
- You'll be responsible for driving the legal and compliance framework encompassing commercial agreements, intellectual property (IP), privacy (e.g., GDPR), and employment law, ensuring the company operates with legal integrity across multiple jurisdictions.
- You will be leading and executing corporate transactions (including investments, warrant programs and other financial transactions) and managing our global corporate governance, including Shareholder relations.
- You'll also be the person for all legal questions providing timely support or seamlessly engaging outside specialists when necessary, fostering a collaborative and legally aware environment.
- You'll be our contractual wizard in negotiations with customers and love to strike a good deal, always with a business-focused mindset.
- Leveraging your legal expertise managing regulatory, compliance and cybersecurity risk and drafting and updating our legal policies.
- You'll also provide guidance and mentorship to internal stakeholders
- You'll be overall responsible for our ISMS and ISO 27001 certification, including information security compliance
Skills & Requirements
Who you are
You have previous experience from working in SaaS. Interest in cybersecurity and privacy is key. You are curious to take on the challenge and have the capacity of managing a company's end-to-end legal function. In addition you have the following profile:
- You have deep proficiency in commercial contracting, corporate law, global data privacy laws (including GDPR), IP protection, and relevant cybersecurity regulatory frameworks (NIS 2, DORA).
- Experience with financial transactions and corporate governance.
- You can explain intricate legal and regulatory concepts with ease through written policies, presentations to the Board, provide direct advice, and have the ability to independently manage a full legal function.
- You have previous experience of corporate and labour law, primarily within Sweden.
- You can analyze complex business needs and craft solutions that seamlessly integrate legal compliance and risk mitigation.
- You thrive on tackling ambiguous regulatory landscapes, finding creative, ethical, and business-focused solutions that empower our teams to operate globally.
- You have previous experience of managing an ISMS and certifications as ISO 27001/SOC 2.

Remote work
This position is for the Stockholm office. We offer hybrid working and would like to see you working from our office in central Stockholm several days per week. We currently do not offer relocation for this position.
