About the Assignment
We are looking for a Legal Counsel to provide hands-on legal support across tendering and project execution in a complex, contract-heavy environment. You will work closely with stakeholders in Sales, Project Management and Contract Management, supporting compliant and profitable project delivery while managing legal risk.
Job DescriptionProvide legal support in tendering, including drafting, negotiations and internal approvals in line with the tender process
Support project execution in close cooperation with Sales, Project Management, Contract Management and the project team
Attend monthly project reviews and advise on contractual and legal matters
Evaluate requests for tenders and provide input balancing legal, commercial and practical aspects, risks and opportunities
Support the project team (including contract manager, project manager and project procurement) to execute compliant and profitable projects
Drive legal risk management activities within your scope
Provide day-to-day legal counselling on matters such as procurement, NDAs, integrity and Code of Conduct
Collaborate closely within the Transmission legal team and with colleagues in Corporate Affairs
Requirements5-8 years of professional experience from a similar role and/or relevant work at an established law firm
At least 3 years' experience in an in-house lawyer role within EPCI business
Strong construction law experience, including FIDIC contracts and other contract forms used within the Nordic countries
Business-minded, solutions-oriented and hands-on legal advisory approach (in-house mindset)
Ability to make swift assessments and prioritize
High integrity and proactive way of working
Nice to haveExperience with NSC 05
Elements of business development experience
