Legal Counsel - Corporate Legal HQ
SKF Automotive Business
SKF Automotive is shaping a new future, and in 2026, we aim to become an independent company listed on Nasdaq Stockholm. Now we are looking for a business-minded lawyer to strengthen our Corporate Legal HQ team in Gothenburg. In this newly created position, you will work closely with the Head of Corporate Legal HQ and the legal team to develop processes and frameworks that meet the standards of a listed company.
Your focus will be on corporate governance, capital markets, and financial law; areas that are central to our operations and critical to our upcoming separate listing on Nasdaq Stockholm. You will be instrumental in supporting our corporate governance, where your work will have an impact on strategic decision-making and help us build an efficient, modern legal function in a dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in establishing and maintaining Corporate Legal operations at headquarters, ensuring compliance and governance excellence.
- Provide legal guidance on corporate law across multiple domains such as governance, capital markets, corporate law, and financial law.
- Contribute to preparations for our separate listing on Nasdaq Stockholm with precision, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Contribute to strategic projects and support the drafting and review of key corporate agreements and documentation.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Corporate Legal HQ and the legal team on strategic initiatives and process improvements.
Qualifications
- Master of Laws (LL.M) or equivalent legal degree from a recognized institution.
- A few years of relevant experience in commercial law, with a focus on corporate governance, capital markets, and/or financial regulations.
- Proven ability in handling complex legal matters and providing legal advice, including strong drafting skills and the capability to produce clear, precise legal documentation.
- Demonstrated interest in legal technology and driving efficiencies within the legal function.
- Proficiency in business English and Swedish, including both written and verbal communication

This position is located at SKF Automotive's headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden. You will report to our Head of Corporate Legal HQ, who is located in Gothenburg.
