We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Sourcing Specialist to join our team at our Norrköping site. This role will be responsible for the ownership and support of overseas purchasing activities for on-site services across Sweden, Finland, and Switzerland, covering a wide range of commodities.

You will ensure full compliance with established purchasing processes, including sourcing, supplier selection and evaluation, negotiation, and contracting. The role requires a strong focus on competitiveness while addressing the specific challenges associated with subcontracting, such as legal and contractual considerations, dispute resolution, and urgent requirements. In addition, you will develop sourcing strategies for your portfolio and manage framework agreements with key strategic subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate and manage existing terms and conditions, including claims management and vendor recovery
  • Oversee order fulfilment activities, ensuring on-time delivery, purchase order placement, invoicing, and expediting
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely achievement of critical project milestones
  • Review supplier performance across schedule, cost of quality, manufacturing, and quality metrics; identify risks and implement mitigation plans
  • Identify and deliver value-adding opportunities within the supply chain
  • Build, manage, and continuously improve supplier relationships, effectively communicating issues and solutions with internal and external stakeholders at senior levels


Experience
  • Minimum 5 years' prior experience in industrial purchasing
  • Experience in site subcontracting activities is considered a strong advantage
  • Demonstrable experience in sourcing and procurement within high-value or complex projects.


Behavioural and / or Technical Know-How
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of the legal environment, including general purchase and sale conditions
  • SAP knowledge is an advantage
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively, coordinate teams, and gain stakeholder buy-in
  • Ability to influence others and manage relationships effectively
  • Capability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate risks and challenges
  • Strong problem identification and complex problem-solving skills
  • Proven analytical and organisational abilities
  • Strong business negotiation skills
  • Clear sense of priorities with the ability to work autonomously on a day-to-day basis
  • Responsive, reliable, and self-directed
  • High standards of integrity and professionalism


Desired Characteristics
  • Willingness and ability to travel on a weekly basis, as required
  • Strong schedule management skills; experience managing sourcing projects is an advantage
  • Experience in quality and supplier quality management is beneficial
  • Ability to manage change, including engineering updates, quality issues, escalations, and reporting to senior management internally and externally
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including MS Project


Language Skills
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken (mandatory)
  • French and/or German language skills are considered an advantage
