About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for the architecture, building, and maintaining systems that power our application. You will work in our dev team, closely with our Product manager and other internal stakeholders. We expect you to deliver high-performance, secure, and scalable solutions - taking proactive decisions and ownership over the platform. You are a person that get stuff done, and people come to ask for help.

• Lead design and development of our systems - from data processing pipelines to APIs, integrations and unique algorithms.
• You are a person that get stuff done.
• Architect and scale cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security. Evaluate and select appropriate frameworks, tools, and technologies.
• Set technical direction and standards through hands-on work, thoughtful design, and clear documentation.
• Guide technical decisions across backend and frontend systems, including AWS, Node.js, MongoDB, Serverless framework & Ant Design.
  
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement in engineering practices, tooling, and code quality.
• Collaborate with product manager to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Maintain thorough documentation of systems and architectural decisions.

You'd be responsible to, for example, develop/take a lead role in tasks such as the Priceagent API, security reviews, scheduling & automation functionality, optimizing performance, Data Lake implementation, etc.
Product & Tech Team
You'd be vital in shaping the development team and our vision aiming to be the most trusted platform for understanding and capitalizing on the market's willingness to pay by enabling companies to set optimal prices for the right customers. Our product principles includes: Users first , Intuitiveness and self understanding over technical obstacles , Build for Longevity - Not Expediency and One solution for all: prioritize the platform .

Skills and requirements Required skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• We believe you are quite early in your career, yet have some experience, with about 3-7 years in the field.
• Deep experience building and deploying scalable, cloud-based backend systems.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and micro services architecture.
• Proficiency with databases
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, fluent in English.

Preferred skills

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
• Agile and DevOps workflow experience.

Location
We believe the best ideas happen when we're together - for this role we are looking for someone based in our HQ Stockholm. The Priceagent HQ is in the vibrant A-House ARK co-working space in the heart of Stockholm. We'll expect you to work a couple of days a week from our office to collaborate, connect, and build our culture.
