About this opportunity:

Join Ericsson as a Researcher, a vital role where you'll drive critical research topics, foster innovation, and propel research strategies. This is an exceptional opportunity to take initiative in research studies, lead the development of tools, demos, and testbeds, play an active role in external relations, drive standards, foster competence transfer within Ericsson, communicate externally about research, take the helm in driving research forward, and contribute to strategy development.

What you will do:

- Initiate and conduct complex research studies, setting directions for Ericsson's research activities.
- Develop and support Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs), reviewing ideas of others and participating in patent boards.
- Create and continuously innovate tools, demos, and testbeds that would be valuable for our internal stakeholders.
- Engage in and drive external relationships, striving for collaborations that enhance Ericsson's external reputation.
- Support and lead in setting industry standards, representing Ericsson in external forums targeting standardization or regulatory bodies.
- Facilitate competency transfer within Ericsson, ensuring knowledge and skills are effectively shared across teams.
