You will work in a team dedicated to laboratory testing and analysis for professional laundry equipment. You will use your knowledge and experience to continue to develop the laboratory with the team in operational processes, testing methodology, and the latest technology.

Responsibilities

• Executing testing on safety, functionality, performance, and reliability, on professional laundry equipment according to international and internal standards in autonomy, managing priorities assigned
• Troubleshooting and analytics on test activities
• Submit Lab Reports according to standards and templates on performed tests
• Laboratory representative in project teams
• Drive continuous improvement and apply 5S methodology in daily activities
• Designing or customizing existing hardware components/measuring instruments with support from Senior Engineers
• Writing test manuals for development of test cases/methods
• Instrument management and internal/external calibration
• Help Senior Engineers in providing documentation (drawings, wiring diagrams, component specifications) for own developed solutions
• Supporting colleagues in testing by providing constructive feedback based on experience and competence

Key operational responsibilities

• Update and maintain protocols and templates related to laboratory processes, together with Laboratory Management
• Laboratory development
• Plan and execute testing and measurements for professional laundry equipment
• Calibration and management of laboratory instruments and equipment

Education and Experience

• Engineering degree in mechanical and/or electronic/electrical field
• 3+ years of work experience as developer or within area of automation and control systems
• Preferred career experiences:
  • Experience in laboratory activities of R&D or Quality department
  • Experience in laboratory activities of R&D and Standardization and standards
• Coding experience (C#, Python, MATLAB, Labview or similar)
• Electrical design (merit)
• Knowledge of instrument management and testing
• Safety in industrial environments
• Knowledge in any CAD tool for design of PCB and drawing wiring (merit)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 360 Packages
• Languages:
  • English (written and spoken)
  • Swedish (written and spoken preferred)
• Experience from standardization work (merit)
• You can read and understand product specifications
