SUMMARY

The Laboratory Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory analyses. This position requires active participation in routine laboratory tasks and adherence to quality and safety protocols.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform laboratory analyses independently after training.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and calibrate laboratory instruments.
• Carry out sampling in compliance with established procedures.
• Assess the accuracy and reasonableness of analysis results, ensuring customer interests are safeguarded while maintaining laboratory quality standards.
• Adhere to quality assurance protocols and safety regulations set by Saybolt and the Port of Gothenburg.
• Participate in the general operation of the laboratory, contributing to continuous improvement and efficiency.
• To always respect and protect company and client confidentiality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to operational excellence.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in Chemistry or Technology.
• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Possession of a valid B Driver's License.
• Competence in routine analytical procedures and the ability to perform laboratory tasks independently.
