We are seeking a motivated and technically strong Junior Originator to join our DCM FIG Team. The role demands a solid understanding of financial institutions’ capital structures and debt markets, along with the ability to quickly integrate into live transactions and contribute meaningfully from the outset.
This position provides exposure to complex FIG funding solutions across the capital spectrum, with an expectation of early responsibility and active involvement in high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities

The Junior Originator will support the origination and execution of DCM transactions for financial institution clients, including senior unsecured, covered bonds, subordinated debt, and regulatory capital instruments. Responsibilities include:

• Preparing pitch materials, market updates, pricing analyses, and capital structure assessments tailored to banks and insurance companies.
• Assisting in structuring transactions in line with regulatory frameworks such as Basel III/IV, Solvency II, and MREL/TLAC.
• Coordinating internally with syndicate, sales, legal, and risk teams to ensure seamless execution, conduct peer analysis, investor targeting exercises, and market window assessments.
• Contribute to client dialogue preparation and/or attend client meetings alongside senior originators.

Required Qualifications & Expertise

• Experience in DCM, FIG coverage, or capital management advisory within an investment bank or financial advisory firm.
• Solid understanding of financial institutions’ balance sheets and regulatory capital requirements is essential, alongside solid analytical capabilities, including capital ratio modelling and funding cost analysis.
• Attention to detail, the ability to operate under tight deadlines, and proficiency in financial modelling and presentation development.
• Fluent in two or more languages.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a solid technical foundation combined with commercial awareness. Candidate should be able to quickly absorb complex regulatory and structural concepts and demonstrate a proactive, execution-focused mindset. Readiness to take ownership of workstreams in live transactions is critical for success in this role.
