What you'll do at Elekta

To ensure smooth financial operations over the summer, we're looking for aJunior Accountantto join our team. You'll support the Group Accounting and Reporting teams, as well as other Finance and Legal functions, with a variety of qualified tasks in accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, audit, and more.

This is a great opportunity for someone at the beginning of their finance or accounting career who's eager to grow, contribute to important processes, and gain hands-on experience in an international fast-paced environment.

We're looking for a first- or second-year university student with a genuine interest in learning how accounting and reporting work in a listed company. Ideally, you'll be available to work on an hourly basis starting in May 2025 and support us throughout the summer vacation period. For the right person, there may also be an opportunity to continue supporting us during busy periods throughout the year.

The responsibilities may include the following areas:
  • Reporting and consolidation: Support the Group Accounting team with internal financial reporting and consolidation when needed on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis. In connection with this you will support reporting entities with reporting and systems related questions and tasks.
  • System administration: In cooperation with other Group Accounting team members, you will work with the administration of the group reporting system Aaro, including the integration between Aaro and the global ERP system M3 as well as other reporting uploads.
  • Internal controls: Support the Group Finance teams with performance and uploads of internal controls.
  • Audit support: Help prepare and upload documentation for external audits.
  • Entity information administration: Work with the Group Accounting and Legal teams to keep our entity information site up to date.
  • Legal entity accounting and reporting: Support the Finance Manager for Swedish entities with accounting tasks.
  • Project participation: Contribute to finance-related projects as needed.


What you bring
  • Ongoing university studies in Accounting, Financial Analysis, or a related field
  • A genuine interest in accounting, financial reporting, and process improvement
  • A positive, proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
  • Capability to create structure and improve processes and ways of working
  • Professional proficiency in English and Swedish.
