We're now looking for a Junior Accountant to join our Finance team at Anyfin.

About the role

At Anyfin, Finance is not a back-office afterthought. We are a regulated credit market company operating under IFRS, and accuracy, structure and accountability truly matter. At the same time, we're a scale-up which means things evolve, improve and change.

As a Junior Accountant, you'll join a senior and experienced accounting team where you'll learn how a modern finance function operates in a regulated fintech environment. This is an entry-level role and a great opportunity to grow within accounting long term.

You'll work with:

• Ongoing bookkeeping and accounting routines
• Invoice handling and payment flows
• Reconciliations and supporting internal controls
• Assisting in monthly closing processes
• Supporting improvements of routines and processes over time

Parts of the work are structured and recurring, as accounting should be. But this is not a static environment. We're continuously refining how we work, and we expect everyone to take ownership of their areas.

This means you're someone who:

• Follows things through and doesn't leave loose ends
• Actively looks for solutions rather than waiting for instructions
• Proactively seeks out answers when something is unclear
• Takes responsibility for getting things right, and able to balance speed with precision

You will report to our Accounting Manager and work closely with senior colleagues who will support your development.

Who you are

We believe you:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar
• May have some experience from a summer job or part-time work within accounting, but this could also be your first full-time role
• Are detail-oriented and structured, while maintaining pace and momentum
• Are humble and prestige-less, happy to roll up your sleeves where needed
• Thrive in an environment where accountability and ownership are expected
• Don't get comfortable leaving problems unsolved

Experience with systems such as Pleo, Skovik or NetSuite is a plus but not required.
