Om jobbet

Do you want to work in an environment that combines finance, AI, IT risk management, IT security, ESG-technology, analytics, and digitalization? We are seeking experienced candidates for Information Risk Management, with positions starting in August 2025, where you can leverage your professional expertise and continue your personal development while delivering quality and knowledge to our clients.

We are looking for individuals with at least 1-2 years of relevant work experience who can navigate the complexities of digitalization impacting every aspect of a business-from business models to the intricate IT systems supporting financial processes. This experience will enable you to help companies gain insights and create more efficient business processes while addressing increasing risks related to integrity, information security, and access management.

Your role
Together with more experienced colleagues you will work with:
  • Identifying IT related risks.
  • Evaluate and test internal controls.
  • Report opportunities for improvement to our clients.
  • Presents observations and recommendations to management.

At KPMG you will have an important role in a growing organization. Most of your time will be spent performing IT audits as part of the external audit. Based on our area of expertise, we also perform engagements within IT assurance, internal audit, IT security and cyber security. With us, you will have the opportunity to work with clients across industries, both medium-sized Swedish companies and large international ones.

To thrive in the role, you will have a combination of the following:
  • A great interest in IT and information/Cyber security.
  • Great communications skills.
  • An analytical mindset where trends and patterns are your second languages.
  • You know your way around MS Office.
  • 3-5 years of higher education. If part of your degree was obtained abroad, it would be beneficial.
  • At least 1-2 years of professional experience in the field.

We think you have a bachelor's or a master's degree, probably within informatics, information security, data science, economics or similar, but we do not think your degree defines your capabilities.

What we offer:
KPMG offers great development opportunities in a diverse and collaborative environment where you will be challenged through exciting and socially important engagements at our clients. We offer you a varied and responsible position with close client contacts. The pace is often high, with many opportunities for stimulating social contacts, constant change and knowledge development. KPMG offers a comprehensive internal training and development program with possibility to develop within the areas of your interest.

We believe in a hybrid way of working where you can use the flexibility with working from home, office, or client's space.

Do you want to make a difference with us?
The role is at our offices on Vasagatan in Stockholm, Vikingsgatan in Göteborg and on Nordenskiöldsgatan in Malmö. Please attach your CV and university grade transcript. For questions regarding the role or recruitment process, please reach out to Selam Semere, selam.semere@kpmg.se.

We look forward to your application!
