Description: We are now looking for a sub-consultant who can take on the role of Java developer.

Digg is responsible for infrastructure and services that are to be used by many different public actors. We are now looking for a system developer with a focus on Java for SDK (Secure Digital Communication) to be part of an existing DevOps team. The team's mission includes both further development and management.

SDK is a digital infrastructure that offers a safe, simple and secure way to send sensitive and classified information between different actors in the public sector. The goal is to increase the security and efficiency of digital collaboration and information exchange, thereby providing better conditions for caring for individuals who need support.

Digg also has several other services under development (e.g. Digital Identity Wallet, Identity and Authorization Infrastructure, Digital Post, Single Digital Gateway) with associated DevOps teams.

Backend development at Digg primarily uses Java, Quarkus, and Spring. We build Docker images in a CI/CD pipeline and run everything in our openshift kubernetes clusters. The team works agile, has a Scrum Master, and has sprints with refinement, planning, demo, and retrospective.

This assignment requires a security clearance level three (3), with the consultant's security class two (2).

The consultant must therefore be a Swedish citizen.

The consultant should have:

Competence level 3

Good communication skills, both spoken and written, in Swedish and English.

At least 5 years of experience in the last 8 years developing in Reactive Java

At least 3 years of experience in the last 5 yearsAt least 3 years of experience in the last 5 years with the Quarkus or Spring frameworks with the Quarkus or Spring frameworks

At least 3 years of experience in Rest API design

At least 3 years of experience with Kubernetes

At least 3 years of experience with Postgres or MySQL

At least 3 years of experience in the last 5 years working in agile teams and applying agile working methods

The consultant should have:

Have experience with kustomize and yaml files for deployment in Kubernetes

Have experience with certificate management

Have experience and knowledge of SDK and its architecture

Have experience with backend test automation

Assignment location: Partially Remote (Stockholm or Sundsvall, according to the consultant's choice, at least 1 day/week or when the business requires it).

Duration of the assignment: 2026-02-16 through 2027-02-15 (option for extension until 2028-02-15).
