Assignment Description

We are searching for a Software Asset Manager Consultant

What You Will Work On

Assess and manage enterprise-wide software licensing portfolios

Optimize license allocation and reduce unused/underutilized software

Manage licensing models for major vendors (Microsoft, SAP, Adobe, VMware, Autodesk, Siemens/Teamviewer, Dassault CATIA, Figma)

Lead vendor audit processes and ensure contractual compliance

Develop and implement SAM governance frameworks and lifecycle processes

Align software asset strategy with IT roadmap and business objectives

Analyze complex licensing and usage data for strategic decision-making

Support cloud and hybrid environments (Azure, Google Cloud, SaaS/PaaS/IaaS)

Negotiate licensing renewals and commercial terms

Manage risks, contracts, and software budgets

Lead cross-functional optimization initiatives

What You Bring

Strong experience in Software Asset Management (SAM)

Deep knowledge of software licensing models and compliance requirements

Experience managing vendor audits and contract negotiations

Hands-on experience with SAM tools (e.g., Flexera, Open IT)

Experience reviewing and interpreting software agreements

Experience working with license servers

Strong analytical and cost-optimization capabilities

Clear communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience working with data analytics and reporting

SAM certification (preferred)
