About the role
The job will primarily involve short-term forecasting (in all currencies), monitoring of SEB liquidity needs, optimization during the day and End-of-Day management.
Our work is driven by various cut-off hours (connected to the currency), and we are dependent on many different tech environments. The day often turns out very different to plan and that is a normal day for us and our job is to deliver with the same quality regardless.
For the right candidate, we are prepared to invest a lot of time and effort in your development. It will take approximately two years to reach basic level. After that, we look forward to experiencing your self-motivation and strong drive to add to both your professional development as well as the development of the team.
Apart from a wide range of internal stakeholders you will regularly be in contact with both central banks (such as Riksbanken, Bank of Finland etc.) as well as other international banks.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have
• A genuine interest in the area, preferably with experience of products with impact on the intraday liquidity (i.e. products that generate large payments).
• You are highly motivated, used to delivering results in accordance with deadlines and can solve unexpected issues/challenges quickly.
• An academic degree from a university or business school within Business Admin, Finance.
• A couple of years' work experience, preferably within the financial sector and/or payment area.
• You have an overall understanding of IT systems and high proficiency in the MS 365 suite, preferably Excel.
• Excellent skills in both Swedish and English (verbal and written).
